Vintage C6 Paramount Star-Lites 10 Light Replacement Box Set c. 1940

  
Here is a beautiful Paramount Star-Lite replacement Box Set containing 10 Star-Lites. The Star-Lites are in terrific condition with all tabs intact and no melting of the rays. All are in working condition with all tabs or teeth intact. The Star-Lite rays have a tendency to melt if left on too long this is due to the vents which focus the heat upwards towards the rays.

This only occurs when the Star-Lites are positioned facing out from the Tree. If you place them face up the rays will not melt. A better solution is to replace the hot bulbs with LED bulbs in which case you can place them anyway you want without fear of melting rays (I have done this with my keeper sets). There are many suitable C6 LED bulbs to do the trick. Not so with this set.

I have dated the set to 1940 but there is information which suggests they first appeared in 1938 or 1939 and this set is likely from those years. They were made through 1942. In any event they appeared well before the US entry into WWII.

Of the Stars with white centers two have red rays, two have green rays and one has blue rays. This is the last one I have for sale. Your good feedback is important to all sellers and your satisfaction is important to me so if there is a problem, please contact me.
