What a great early American dome top hide and brass tack decorated document box featuring brass hardware with the original lock. It dates to the first half of the 19th century and looks original, ready for immediate display! The interior is fitted with old broadside paper with text. Overall it is in good condition considering with typical wear/heavy worn patina to exterior and interior.
