Absolutely amazing find, The pen has just arrived in America from Europe and was part of a forgotten inventory of original German pens - The box shows some very light storage wear, but it had protected the pen through and approx 80 year time period whee it had not seen the light of day :- The only aspect of this pen that is not original, is that the cork seal has been replaced by a world renowned pen repair professional, and has not been inked since.. Most likely it has never been inked.

The piston filler works perfectly , The cap threads on & posts perfectly , The gold filled trim is excellent & very bright with minimal age/tarnish showing, , the pocket clip is very sturdy, No warp, Very clear ink tank, the pen is 4 & 5/8" capped and 6 & 1/2" posted. The cap top as a perfect "Pelikan" logo in green, and also has a factory imprint " PELIKAN PATENT". The condition is like new - the original sticker band is still on the pen - the pearl green binde & the Barrel is perfect, the black parts have an excellent shine - See photos please :. The Nib, Box and pen sticker are all marked "M" - Great 14 Karat.

585 Gold Nib with perfect iridium tipping (medium Point) a little flex (PLEASE SEE THE NIB CLOSE UP PHOTOS). Truly an amazing find I believe - oh, and also with the original Paper instructions (in German). It could be that the box & papers are more rare than the pen - but this is all original - as found, except that it has been improved with a new cork (like it would have had when new, so theoretically the pen is ready to use).
