Vintage Wooden Banana Crate Inland Trading Chicago Illinois Hammond Indiana Box

  
Beautiful old banana box in solid vintage condition, normal wear and staining, some minor, splitting, but great color on this old box. This must've been used by a mason in its second life, as there is a mortar buildup/residue on the inside but for a display item on a shelf it makes no difference. We like leaving our Crates with the original patina, but this would be a great candidate for a clearcoat as it would make the yellow letters pop out even more, but the new owner can decide. Pictures don't do it justice, it is a very large box. Measures 35 1/4 x 12 3/4 x 11 3/4 tall.
