Vintage Norwegian Decorative Wooden Tine Box Rose Mailing Floral Painting

  
This particular one had to have some repair work. One of the curved wooden side mounts had broken off. It had to be re-glued and re- fasten. The top fits on nicely but is not intended to carry the container. It looks great and is one of the few that I have seen with legs. It is a solid piece and has been kept in a dry environment. They used to be used for holding such things as cakes and food especially during the holidays.

This looked great on my antique kitchenette hutch. I'm going to miss it.
