For sale from my personal collection. Immaculately preserved Louis Marx & Co.

Die Cast Electric Locomotive & Tender No. Included is the original packing slip preserved in an acrylic case. The inner boxes are all original and complete without tears. The locomotive and tender have been wrapped in acid free tissue paper to preserve condition. Silica Gel Dessicant packs were added to the box interior to reduce humidity.

A real gem for collectors and Marx enthusiasts. Vintage Marx O Gauge steam locomotive and tender set. Model: 333 locomotive with 3991 tender.

New York Central (NYC) road name. Manufactured by Louis Marx & Co. "New York Central" lettering-pristine see photos. Plastic body with metal trucks. Original packing slip included preserved in acrylic sheet. Unused / lightly handled to display for sale.

There are areas of surface stains/rust on the tender wheels/axel. Not significant to affect structural support.

Box shows vintage wear from storage. I wrap all individual trains in acid free tissue paper if they have no original packing and pack with extreme care. Originally from New Haven, CT my father worked for American Flyer. He was responsible for my interest in model trains from a young age. Since then Ive enjoyed diagnosing problems, taking things apart, fixing them, and putting them back together.

I perform train surgery on the side. My father and I have been on Antiques Roadshow and while he is now passed on, I hope to continue our shared love of model trains and help others who share the passion. I do not claim to know everything or anything about trains and Im always happy to be educated.
