Vintage LARGE Gold FLORENTINE ITALIAN Wood Jewelry BOX Procession of the Magi

  

Beautiful Italian gilded wood box handmade in Italy by the company Florencia. A fine piece of Florentine usable art , it is 11 7 / 16 inches by 11 7/16 inches and 2 5/8 inches high. It has a tasseled key and I was told that it locks, but I can't get it to stay lock ed. On top is a print of the P rocession of the Magi. There are some areas where there is minor loss of gilding and or paint but all in all I think it is in shockingly good condition.

It weighs 1 1/2 pounds.
