This item is among the most collected and famous of all portable typewriters of all time. This is a 1970 Olivetti Valentine in Red that was never ever used. This is extremely rare since it is a new old stock item. This typewriter comes in the original outer box that reads "Olivetti Valentine" in red with large graphic pictures of the typewriter on the outside of the box. The serial number on this typewriter as pictured is #6321604 and indicates that this was made in 1970 by Olivetti. It was removed from the box to check it back in 1970 and placed back in the box and never touched again. The outer box has some very minor shelf storage wear. But, inside is a brand new, never used Olivetti Valentine in Red with it's carry case. Inside the box are the white Styrofoam packing blocks. Since the ribbon is original and we are unsure if it is dried out, we are also including a brand new high quality cotton ribbon on metal ribbon wheels in it's factory sealed package just in case.

The Olivetti Valentine typewriters are in several of the world's finest art museums including the MOMA. The Valentine was made in Olivetti plants in Italy, Spain and Mexico during it's short 5 year run.
