This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. This set was preserved quite well by the previous owner, as each item appears to be in overall great condition cosmetically. Each piece is guaranteed to add realistic and vintage elements to your current collection, and when displayed these pieces are sure to catch the eyes of a few admirers. So act fast before it's gone! While these pieces are in amazing condition despite their age, there are imperfections.

The road name on the locomotive has faded and the decals have yellowed due to age. The handrails are slightly be. This set includes [1] 2331 Virginian FM Train Master, [1] 6414 Evans auto loader, [1] 6464-275 State of Maine boxcar, [1] 3562-50 operating barrel car, [1] 3359 operating dump car, and [1] 6517 bay window caboose. The locomotive has a plastic shell, a metal frame, die-cast trucks, twin motors, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles. Please see my pictures for additional features.

The handrails are slightly bent, and there are a few minute spots of rust. There are hairline cracks near the body mounting screws of the locomotive. This is a common issue found with this version due to its elongated body and the tightening of the screws at the Lionel factory. The included automobiles all appear to be original. The wheels display light wear, and there are minute spots of rust on some of the metal trucks/components.

The instruction manuals are not included. The original boxes are all included and in very good condition for their age! Each box displays abrasions, creases, tears, indentations, and edge wear along the corners and sides.

All of the inner and outer flaps appear to be intact, however some flaps were repaired with tape. A box liner and liner paper are included for the locomotive.
