ITALIAN MID-CENTURY MOD. DEP. ORNATE JEWELRY BOX with Cherubs Brass

  

This is an absolutely lovely Italian MidCentury Mod. Ornate Jewelry Box that features a cherub motif and a beautiful aged patina. It measures approximately 8" wide x 5 " tall x 4 1/2 deep and weighs in at a hefty approximately 4 1/2 pounds.

It is made of brass or some other similar non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal. The vivid interior lining and the hinges are present and intact. " is short for "Modello Depositato. It indicates that the design of an item has been registered to protect it from being copied, similar to a design patent.

This MidCentury Italian Jewelry Box would make an awesome addition to any home's decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too!
