Antique Mahogany Tantalus Box with Brass Trim & Red Velvet Lining

  

MAHOGANY TANTALUS BOX WITH BRASS TRIM. 8" High x 8" Wide x 9 High. Exceptionally handsome mahogany tantalus box with brass fittings - Listing is for Box only - No bottles & No Key. The box is antique and shows some wear including a long scratch on the back and a missing prong on the lock. There is also wear and stain to the red velvet interior but overall condition is excellent.

The lock is incised with what appears to be a British royal crest & "with modern improvement" as shown in the photos. If it falls short, we will make up the difference.
