Vintage Puma 6362 Mariner Knife Set New In Original Plastic Box

  

1983 Vintage Puma Mariner Knife (6362) with leather sheath. The Puma model 6362 "fishing knife". This knife is over 45 years old and it has been stored away, unused. This has a stainless steel knife blade with red rubber hand grip. This knife measures 10" overall with a 6 3/4" blade.

The leather sheath does have some rub blemishes from being stored for so long in the plastic box. The blade has etched: 6392 Puma - Mariner Knife - New Stainless Super Keen Cutting Steel - SOLINGEN GERMANY. The knife has the genuine "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small ping on the blade was made as part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. It also comes with the original factory papers. This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany.

I did a search of the control number for this knife (#56472) on the Classic Puma Knives website - results were that this knife was made in the 2nd quarter of 1974. This was the original sheath that was included with this knife at that time. It is truly a great vintage Puma knife that will be a nice addition to a vintage quality knife collection.
