Vintage Victorian blue soapstone hinged jewelry box with additional shelf 1970s

  

Beautiful, vintage, ornate blue soapstone jewelry box. The interior is covered in a soft velvet style material and comes with a removable pedestal two section tray. Everything is original--hinge, removable shelf, velvet interior.

Very pretty 3D rococo cream relief around the entire box. Pretty estate piece that would make an excellent gift. There is wear on interior velvet--see pictures. Outside of box in very good condition.

Appears to be a little chipped on front (see picture of finger pointing to the small chip), but this is very minor and does not affect the look of the piece at all. Could use a good dusting.
