Beautiful complete set of 12 vintage glass Christmas tree ornaments made in Poland, dating to the 1950s. The ornaments measure approximately 2.5 inches and remain together in their original illustrated Christmas Tree Ornaments box, which is marked "POLAND, " "2.5, " and 1 DOZ. This wonderful mid-century set features an assortment of classic Christmas colors including pink, red, aqua blue, mint green, gold, silver and champagne. Many are decorated with colorful atomic-style starbursts, hand-painted white stars, mica/glitter accents and other delicate period designs. The original cardboard box is especially charming, featuring colorful mid-century graphics of Santa Claus, a Christmas tree, gifts and a snowy house.
