Quality 1800's antique handmade inlaid marquetry wood jewelry box mirror

  

Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 19th century handmade wooden marquetry jewelry box. It's embellished with very elaborate inlaid pieces of natural wooden veneer featuring different shaped and designs. The hinged lid is set with a mirror on the interior and the box has a removable compartmentalized wooden dish in the bottom. The box has two inlaid bone embellishments on the face that was once a lock but displays beautifully.

It has acquired a lovely patina from age and in good antique condition with normal ware. The box measures 13 1/4 inches long by 8 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall. One of the feet has a chip as shown in last photo. Thank you for visiting "Dusty Treasures " and please feel free to browse through.
