This is a rather stunning period piece, something you simply dont see much anymore, now we are not experts on fabrics, but I believe the exterior is a green velvet, which exhibits scattered wear from use etc please view all photos, the inside I believe is silk with silk embroidered flowers, I believe that was also done by hand, I think its rather extraordinary color contrast, I would love to know who owned this, you certainly can imagine her most treasured possessions where inside!
