This unique inlaid wood box was found in France and is in its original condition. Many special features: a brass edged curved front lid, special wood inlays to represent stars, chevron sides front and back, original silk lining featuring birds, a embroidered monogram and working key. Condition is excellent with one flaw: there is a very small piece of veneer missing on the lower back corner as shown. This box dates to the beginning of the 20th century. Measurements are: 8 3/4" by 6" and 3 5/8 tall.
