Antique French Inlaid Wood Glove Box Silver and Semi Precious Cabochons, Key

  

This unique antique French inlaid wood box has a lot going for it: the top has a center medallion that I believe is silver, engraved with the name Jean Claude, and also one on the front of the lid. Then there are 28 semi precious cabochons: onyx, lapis and a translucent white stone. There is a working key as well. The wood is king wood and amboyna and brass escutcheon.

Condition is very good, no damage that I can see. Measurements are: 11 1/4" by 4 1/2" and 3 1/2 tall.
