Antique French Inlaid Wood Box Unique Silver and Abelone Inlays

  
This antique French inlaid wood box has a lot going for it: the top has a center medallion that I believe is silver, set with a mother of pearl center and flowers surrounding it and around the edge of the lid are more inlays including abalone inserts. The front does have a key hole with escutcheon, but no key. The inside of the box is painted white with a bright blue velvet bottom.

Perfect for showing off a prized jewelry set. Condition is good for its age: there is a split in one of the white triangles on the edge of the lid and the bottom has newer felt added. Measurements are: 7 7/8" by 7 7/8" and 3 1/2 tall.
