Vintage Tamiya 58024 Sand Rover 1/10 Buggy C/W Original Box &. 58024 (RA-1024), the 24th Radio Controlled model officially.

Released by Tamiya in 1981 was the Sand Rover, a versatile plastic bodied. Off-road 1/10 scale chassis powered by a RS380 Motor. New with a mechanical speed control and brushed motor, radio gear was. The model was in production up until 1984 and was favoured. Over the 58023 Holiday Buggy released on the same chassis.

With the model appearing to have such little usage the chassis is in very good. Condition with only minimal scratching to the underside and no broken. All clips and fixings are in tact and show no signs of cracking.

There are some paint marks on the rear suspension plate and front bumper. Although it is not very noticeable. The original tires are not perished and. Overall a very respectable chassis built using the. Correct hardware and fully degreased.

The original Motor seems to have been swapped out at some point with. A different brand but same size motor, however the original mechanical. Speed control Is still present.

The Radio gear included with the car is a. Very odd Sprengbrook Euro-Sport 7 System with Microprop servos and. 7 Channel receiver probably intended to be used in model Boat/Plane.

The transmitter does hold charge although is untested along with the. Very good condition Tamiya hump battery included. The body shell is totally original and retains its good condition nearly 40. Year old paint and decals well, The driver is respectably painted and. Unbroken along with the gear lever and steering wheel.

Damage and is nicely painted black inside, some paint chips and minor. Scuffs but all repairable if you chose to restore.

The rear part of the roll. Bar is missing but I imagine these are available to find. The original box is present with the model and makes it a desirable model. For collectors, the box is in very good condition with no holes or tears and. All graphic on the sides is in tact.
