Vintage Lego Classic Space Set 928/497 Galaxy Explorer With Original Box

  
It contains a large spacecraft, a ground base with a landing pad and a small tower, a small space rover and four Classic Space astronauts (two red, two white). This set was not available in the US, where the identical set. However, both spacecraft had the number "LL 928" printed onto their hulls. The cockpit had enough room for two minifigures and could be accessed by tilting back its roof.

The rocket engines and the aft fuselage had to be tilted to the sides to access it. The building of the ground base contained a control room and had a large dish antenna on the outside.

The spacecraft has a similar color scheme and design as the smaller spaceships from the sets 918 Space Transport and 924 Transporter. LEGO set 928 with the original box and original. It is very difficult to be obtained in good condition, as you rarely seen a boxed one for sale.

Like I said above the box is in alright shape. The former owner taped its sides. I inheirted a bunch of old toys and this Lego set was in the group. I really do not know much about other than what I could find online.

Otherwise, it is a great piece to add to your lego collection from 1979. Unfortunately, your item can take from 8-12 weeks to get to you.
