There is no fading, nothing broken, nothing missing, including the original Glow in the Dark poster was never put on display and is not ripped, this set is very rare in this complete condition.

The box has some shelf wear on the edges and corners, but given the age, the box is still in good integrity and was not faded, nor dusty as kept in a closed space and away from sunlight, pets and no smoking. The item still works with the motor. This set is very iconic and is perfect for any collector of the Transformers original G1 series.
